    suspension install tips needed

If you dont have a caster/camber plate already i would consider adding those or at least a fresh set of stock strut bearings. Just so you dont have to go back in there when they start popping, a lot of times they just fall apart anyway when you remove them. Sounds like a pretty complete set-up...

Anyone running the FRPP Mustang Coupe Dynamic Damper kit?

I have them on my 07 gt, they came with the FRPP handling pack i installed. The car handles like its on rails but the ride is very stiff imo. Not sure how much of that is in the springs or the dampners. I have been cosidering trying the D specs to see if i can "loosen" the ride up just a bit.

Any AL 302 techs out there? Looking for Input

There was an issue of 5.0 magazine about a year ago that had a s197 with a 427 FE side oiler in it complete with the autolite dual carb set-up. It looked awesome, like it was made for it, coolest conversion ive seen so far.

    Problem with new motor

Id almost bet that its something to do with that fuel pump driver code,a bad/loose electrical connection could cause the pump to cut in & out briefly causing the engine to stumble. Just my $.02.

Calling all people with aftermarket hoods

I had a bunch of items matched painted for my car(vista blue) and they came out great, the painter explained that they start with the paint code but most colors have alternate mixes listed as well. If the car is fairly new you can get pretty close but i do know grey/silver colors along with...

    Stroker Tech

Some stroker kits use pistons with offset wristpin bores to reduce angle and keep the piston "loaded" and quiet, alot of oem pistons are like that also. But i would dare to say most aftermarket pistons dont offset them, couple that with forged pistons with extra, and sometimes too much...

Carbon Fibre Radiator Cover - from....er where?

A guy i know does c/f work, in fact he makes the c/f tubing for the JLT cold air kits, most of what he does is custom but if you have the original part for him to pattern off of he can make it. Search for feathercarbon.com and drop him a line maybe he can help you, his name is Thomas and you...

Will these wheels fit as a drag wheel option? Wheel experts in here pelase

Maybe try checking into these, im going to get a set for my fox body, the site lists the b/space as coming in 1-1/2 increments and they appear to have a load of caliper clearance plus they look bad ass, jegs newest catalog has them listed and they average around $230.00 a wheel, might be worth...

Need some insight on tires please...

According to m/t a big burnout makes the slicks "greasy" and they hook better with just a small burnout just enough to clean the tread off. I use m/t 28x10.5 tires on my fox drag car, which i primarily bracket race, i do a good burnout on the first run and every run after that i just spin em...

Need some insight on tires please...

If you want a tire strictly for the track then a true drag slick would be my choice, any street type slick or drag radial is o.k but none of them will out perform a true slick. A 28x10.5 mickey thompson would be my preference as they offer a stiff sidewall version that works well on heavier,hard...

    Centri.S/C Input.

Well it goes w/out saying that WOT is a no no in inclement weather, and my wife has fairly good experience w/powerful cars as her dd before was a 97 cobra with an F1A procharger setup, my biggest concern is actually less about rain and more about the colder temps around here. Most of roads we...

    Centri.S/C Input.

Well i installed a whipple H.O kit on brothers 05' and all i can say is wow the low end tq. of this thing is nuts with just 3.55 gears and no other mods. But this has changed my mind on getting this same kit for my 07' due to the fact of my car having newly installed 4.10's and the fact this car...

    Brake Reservoir

+1 on the paint damage, but you also need to flush out all the brake fluid to be safe because brake fluid absorbs moisture from the air when exsposed(and it does it quick!) ,which severely lowers its boiling point and brake performance suffers big time. It will also corrode your brake components.

Leaving to pickup my car after the 4.10 install....

The carrier is the outside or housing of the actual trac-lock unit itself some have been found with too much run-out at the flange where the actual ring gear bolts up, some runout is allowed here about.002to.004 if memory serves, but anymore than that could cause issues. Backlash is checked in...

    Input Shaft went last night

To race index classes competitively an auto is the only way to go. Is this a daily driver? if not a Turbo 400 may be a , stronger, and cheaper way to go.

    Installed the Fitch Fuel Catalyst

I would cut it open and see what it is inside that can magically change the make up of gasoline, it probably is a restriction to fuel flow and thats how theyre getting a mpg increase. Id be curious to see before and after a/f numbers with one of these things.

    Installed the Fitch Fuel Catalyst

Heres a link http://www.fitchfuelcatalyst.com/products/auto/index.html My first impression was that it ranks up there with the "tornado" and "slick 50" but who knows maybe it works let us know. Not modding the car in the first place could be more cost effective at getting better mpg though,LOL
