So i just swapped motors out of my 2006 mustang gt an dropped a 2010 4.6 3v in because my motor sent a rod an dropped a piston.. So the car has sat for maybe 6 months now with a dead battery... Long story short after having my motor dropped in everything hooked up, it will start an run an die...

Lol i was just asking i wasn't sure about the 2v compared to the 3v but now i now..

Well what would have caused the plug to be smashed then... I figured it was from a dropped valve that came up an smashed the plug from the piston... Maybe if it warms up next couple days il pull the drivers side valve cover an inspect the springs an valves

So i had the compression test done, i didnt get the number but 1-4 had high compression, an oil was shooting out of the plug holes when we was cranking it over. cylinder number 8 had no compression at all he told me... So he believes that one of valve springs broke casuing my piston to come up...

Il be trying to do a compression test thursday... So what numbers should i be looking at in my cyclinders

I was just looking for help... Yea i plan on doing a compression test... I was just looking for advice.. Maybe hoping for the best.. Id rather rule out all the simple issue's it could be, before sinking money into rebuilding seals or piston rings an what not..

Really I've never seen it drip out.. Everytime ive ever had the cai intake tube off... Ive never seen oil come out the throttle body this is a first for me to see that... So sounds like im going nowhere...

Gottcha that makes sense but just found oil on the outside of my throttle body going into my cai tube..

So here is another tip.. Just pulled off my cai an tube an there is oil on the outside of my throttle body coming from my intake..

Yea but how can bad camshaft sensors cause oil in plugs an exhaust

Yea they have lifetime warranty so i can do that but how's bad camshaft sensors gonna cause smoke an oil in the exhaust an down in my spark plug electrodes?

Im saying if its stuck open, it can suck more excessive oil into the intake, causing the problems im having now... I was low on oil when i changed my oil but i wasn't leaking it out anywhere that i could fined... Maybe a quart in a half low.. An what can i uses to cap of both ends to see what...

No i wouldn't think so i believe its the pvc vavle im just gonna end up swapping it out an see what happens

Its runs for like a few seconds an just dies out, because of the oil mixture with the gasoline.... But new sparks plugs, new coil packs, 2 new camshaft sensors, 1 new crankchaft sensor, an one new maf sensor an ,new fuel pump new fuel filter thats pretty much it so far that i can think of that...

Yea but all the symptoms that im having now point too either a bad pcv valve or bad valve seals which pcv valve can cause with to much pressure build up

Yea but it shouldn't be sucking oil from my valve into my intake from what ive been reading should be very little oil residue in my pcv valve an pcv valve tube that would explain oil getting mixed in with my gas getting on my plugs coming out my exhaust

So there is oil in the pcv vavle tube so im assuming i just found my answer im gonna have to order a new valve cover cause they dont sell them separate which is kinda dumb...
