Bought some BBK long tubes. I was thinking I could modify the stock H pipe by cutting cats , saving the ball and socket and welding it back with maybe some others fitment corrections. Anyone else tried this? Either that or bend over and take it up the tailpipe with the 550.00 BBK mid pipe...

2005 GT.....I have Shaker 500 head unit, but no door subs, My door panels are smooth with just some perforations for a "normal" speaker. Head unit appears to be original to the car. Just curious......This is a deluxe GT, cloth seats etc.
