Standalone System and S197 pcm
Not sure if this will help anyone else or not but I was able to wake up the PCM enough to make the EPAS work. I took the crank sensor trigger wheel and attached it to the new motor and hooked up the crank sensor. That woke the pcm up enough for the EPAS and the tachometer to work.- Mrl510

Standalone System and S197 pcm
I have swapped an engine into my 14 mustang that has its own standalone Holley sniper system running it. The factory pcm is still in the car. The engine harness from the pcm is only being used for CHT and Oil pressure(that I can remember right now). The factory gauges sees/reads oil pressure...- Mrl510
