I got the brackets installed today....should I put a couple of stitch weld on just in case...I really don't want any unusual noises!

Its a force thing - once you go past about 1.5-1.6s 60ft times - you are likely to flex/move them around and they need welds...

Prior to that, you should not have any issues if they are torqued down correctly...

Mine are welded in... but then again, I had no other option. They aren't a bolt-in design.

Bolt in= possable noise
weld in= no possable noise, But add cost of welding if you can't do it your self

I went ahead and put a couple of stitch welds on the side and back...just for safety's sake.

Overkill...

...is the solution from Griggs then overkill? Would welding be enough?

The Shock Bracket Kit is designed to be used with the Axle Bracket Kit when ever increased rigidity of the shock bracket is needed such as those exerted by extreme cornering forces with good adhesion. This is accomplished by tying the Axle Bracket to the aft Rear Lower Control Arm mounting point and optionally welding in the steel reinforcement gusset.

Weld in should be enough. I might think about something else if I was over 800 to 1000 hp. By then I would probable have a 9" rear in

My CHE's are bolted in and make no noises. Later on, if my car ever gets faster, or atleast I can pull better 60's I'm going to give those Steeda's a try and weld them in. I really like the adjust ability of the Steeda anti squats.
