GT500 hood with none gt500 bumper

I have a GT500 hood on my car. I really like the look of the gt500 hood but i dont want to do a gt500 front end. Is anyone else running a gt500 hood with none gt500 front bumpers, aftermaket or stock?

it makes the grill area look kind of bulbous. Not terrible, but imo it doesn't flow

My son did this on his 06 with a CDC classic chin spoiler. The only problem he has had with it is that the hood rubs the bumper uprights on each side of the grill. I don't have any pics of his car but I think it looks great.

A few people have taken the heat extractor from the 2010+ model GT500's and installed them in their factory GT hoods. They look good, bet you could do the same and that would keep the lines right...

i did the same thing for a while

IMO the gt500 hood doesn't look right with the gt front bumper, the 2010 gt500 heat extractor in the gt hood looks way better
