Had a couple of stereo questions

Alright, I'm alright with car audio, I guess. Installed a couple decks and that is about it, but had a few questions about this new mustang of mine.

It is not the Shaker 500 or 1000 I believe. So does that mean it is just 4 regular 6x8 speakers and the stock head unit?

If so would I see any improvement by just installing a new deck?

I think you'd see better improvement by swapping the speakers themselves. And yes, if you didn't get the shaker system, you just have those 4 speakers. Not a bad thing though. You have an easier foundation to start with for building up your system IMO.
