Has anyone ever made their own spark plug wires?

So Ford Racing doesn't make spark plugs specifically for the 4.0, but they do have a "universal" kit. So I was wondering, how hard would it be to buy the universal kit and crimp the wires to length... add a accel distributor kit from American Muscle and a Ford Racing CAI and bama tune... get the valve covers done, and call the underhood sectioin of the car done.

The wires are available in Black, red, or blue... have to also figure out what color would look ok against the copper.

i had a set of taylors ( ithink were the name) on my 95 z28, they were cut ti fit and worked fine.

Ive cut sets for my 5.0s in the past but if someone sells a precut set and your deadset on having them buy those.

i put livewires on mine, they are a real good wire. also went with the demon coil at the same time. after 60k, still running great. i went with old school yellow
