For the Diablo Pred....made it a 93 oct Race tune

Right now Im running the Canned tune from the predator

How much of a difference am I going to see

by the way still have to install the gears and the CDMPs just figure I order the tune ahead of time so im all ready to go when I do so, obviously ill take the gears to get done first at RealSpeed probably then Ill do the CMDPs myself

Sounds like it will be sweet! I'd make sure to get an accurate air/fuel reading after you install the tune tho. Just to make sure you are in the right area. IE 12.5ish.

And honestly. you see lower numbers with 4:10's and a cai wont get you no more then 10hp and the pullies...maybe 5hp

It will feel a lot better though

HOw would gears effect your numbers in Hp....they have nothing to do with horsepower numbers at all..and from what I hear the 2 main Tune Guys are really really good and the difference between a dyno tune and theres isnt a whole lot since there tunes are based on previous dynos of other setups

I just got my BamaChips 93 Race tune about a week ago. The difference was noticable and extremely impressive. My GTech had it at just over 20rwhp (274 to 296), but it felt like more than that. The real test will be to see what a real dyno shows (hopefully this Saturday). The throttle response was a huge difference. No more initial lag when pegging the throttle. Gas mileage seems better too, but I need to have it installed longer to get a better idea how much.

Anyone with a CAI/Tuner and running a canned tune should drop the $50 and just get a single tune from BamaChips. It is by far the best change I have made to my car (and it was the cheapest)!

IMO...No two cars are exactly the same and there are things in every tune that can be changed. There is nothing compared to an actual dyno tune of a car.
As for the gears...it has to do with the calculation of the numbers. Not sure exactly what the cause is...

I've never seen anyone get any kind of noticable gain from gears. They don't increase hp they increase how fast the hp reaches the ground.

Yea I miss read it as gears not going from a brenspeed tune to dyno tuning. lol I got 4.7rwhp and 7 ft lbs tq extra from tweeqing a brenspeed tune on the dyno. The dyno tuning isn't necessarily to make more power so much as to make sure the tune you have gotten runs safe and keeps your car's a/f in the right range.
