quick question

does anyone know if the stock gt hpipe will bolt up to the 4.0's stock manifolds. i have my stocker sitting around at home and was going to give it to a friend with a v6 if it bolts up

well, if he was going to do duals then yeah it would but stock, i dont think it will.

well he wants to do true duals basically. i said id give him my stock h if it would bolt up. he still has the stock v6 y pipe. im 99% the mounts are the same bc we all share a common assembly line, but didnt know if the manifolds would bolt to the stock gt h

Nope. Not the same.
V6 2.25" pipe, gt 2.5" pipe.

I think if you cut the V6 pipes right behind the cats the larger 2.5" pipes will slide over the 2.25" pipes and can be welded. Then the system will be 2.5" all the way back.

Yup; for a leak-proof setup, that's what I recommend as well. The 2.25 will slide into the 2.5. Weld up the junction, and it's a solid connection and won't leak (if the welds are good).

or i believe you can buy an adapter at like autozone or something.
