San Diego Drags: 6/1 - 6/2

There are two chances to light 'em up this weekend. RaceLegal is running at the Q on Friday, 6/1, and Barona is running on Saturday, 6/2.

The event at Barona looks like it will be pretty cool. Here is a cut-n-paste from their website:

I plan on being at both places, but also depends on the car. I'll be taking the car to Larry's Transmission shop Thursday.

I'm sure AJ will be there too.

Adam called me this morning, and he is hoping to bring a car or two down this Saturday for Barona, but he wasn't 100% sure yet.

I would have been there but a cam phaser took a dump last night and TIK TIK TIK - I am grounded again...

Yes, we were there tonight. Since my slicks are getting so worn, I decided to just make 12 runs and call it a night. I wanted to make sure I had enough rubber for Barona tomorrow. We got in 12 runs tonight before 8:15pm. There weren't many cars there... we probably could have made 30 runs tonight.

My drag tires will need to be replaced soon also. I got 12 or 13 runs myself. But I stopped early also, had to give the car a break.
