I had the exact same problem........and it's a simple fix! TAKE OFF YOUR THROTTLE BODY AND GIVE IT A CLEANING!!!!!!!

The computers in our cars are sooooo sensitive. I had the exact same issue with my 2005 GT, took off the tb, and it had just a tiny bit of dirt/sludge built up, cleaned it, and presto, problem solved!!!!

And in case you're wondering, I run nothing but 94 octane in my car, and even though it's "cleaner" gas, it still happened.

Unless I'm missing something... Why would fuel cause a dirty TB??? :stooges:

Good fuel doesn't cause a dirty TB. Just saying that no matter how good you treat your car, that crap builds up. And the TB is an especially sensitive component of the S197's. The computer is soooo sensitive. Clean the throttle body!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fuel won't cause a dirty TB, but an over oiled filter will. Due to this I no longer oil mine. Wash it more often though.
