what stereo interface cable did you use?

The interface cable I need to use for the head unit I'm looking at is almost as much as the stereo itself. What did you use to hook up an after market stereo to the factory wiring?

this also depends on if you have sync, if you want to retain steering wheel controls, etc.. so, need more info.

Those interface modules that you seem to be referring to usually aren't needed for a basic install.

I used a metra cable to connect replace my shaker 500. All you have to do is wire in a resistor to the amp turn on wire from radio shack (I beleive it was a 1K ohm?) to stop the subs from popping when you turn the stereo on. I added a sub and amp in the trunk with no issues as well! BTW I got my metra harness on amazon for $11.
