:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

GREAT setup Tiger. I wish I had a room to dedicate to home theater, maybe in my next house, the one I will die in LOL

In this house the HT is what would be called the {Bonus Room} over the 2 1/2 car garage.
It's nice as it is all by itself and completely Dark.
I really like watching movies so this is right up my alley.

Earl
Earl,

Buddy that is a Fantastic HT you have.
It is just done to Perfection.

It is so interesting to see what other members interest are besides Mustangs.
Looks like more than a few of us really like the HT sort of thing.

Luv the Classe' Amps Brother-Man.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Terry, I used to spend hours and hours listening to music, as well as watching TV and Movies, in my room. I have always been a sucker for Classe amps and Aerial speakers. My ears aren't what they used to be so now I just mostly watch movies and TV. My screen is 135 inches so sports are fantastic on it. My family and grandchildren also really enjoy it.

Holy shit batman! Was that a converted garage?
No it's on the first floor of my house. When I built the house I had the room roughed in and I built the rest of it.

Damn I am truly inspired to do my own one day. My friends dad had one about the same size as yours but his screen filled probably half of his wall. Granted his dad was a trainer for the Detroit Lions Lol

Earl
Earl,

I think I am lucky as my hearing is still normal.

Your HT like I said is outstanding.
You did an Awesome job on all aspects of it.

I watch Movies more than listening to Music.
I do still like to listen to my DVDs that are concerts.

But a Movie Guy here Pal.

Oh, no children here, so no grandchildren.

Just the little wife and I.

That would make a difference as one has greater CASH.
Just a working fellow on this end.

In my case I have the largest screen that will fit on that wall.
It is a 123" with remote 4-way masking feature.

Given the size of the room and the 123" screen it is a very large picture for sure from our seating to the screen, 18-19' I think.

No what I meant was it wasnt as big as his, as it is half the size of his wall. Meaning it wasnt as tall and wide. He just had more things in there to entertain his sons friends. he had arcade games, theatre popcorn machine and soda machine. Lol Good times

No lol I didnt mean anything by it, I was just comparing between the two and looking back on my childhood days. Is that a special screen or can you buy it by the roll and make it the size you want? Might seem like a dumb question

Hey Buddy,

There are no stupid questions, just stupid answers IMHO.

The screen I have is a Custom one from Stewart.
It is a 123" with Remote 4-Way Masking feature.
It comes as a Complete package that has to be assembled and mounted.

It was installed by the Audio Video Store that did the Home Theater 9-yrs. ago.

The screen was $8,931.00 Dollars our cost.
That was heavily discounted because of us purchasing the complete Home Theater from them.
I think it was a 20% Discount across the board.
So actual Retail was $10,717.72 cents plus tax.

Custom Home Theater systems are very expensive and the above cost was back in 2002.
Like almost 10 yrs. ago now.

Damn thats pretty pricey but the end results kick ass. Plus Im sure that will last a VERY long time so its really a one time investment. Hell I bet people spend more then that in a lifetime buying new TV's so that is a very smart move IMO. Awesome room Terry!

Just think of it like this.

The HT is a very expensive investment on the front end.

But what about the people that go on vac. for two or three weeks and drop 10 to 15 thousand dollars.

Or guys I know that go Big Game Hunting every year and drop $10 grand.

It is just what each of us chooses to do with our money.

No right or wrong just different things for us based on our likes and desires.

Another thing with myself and my wife is this.
We actually like being at Home.
And add to that the HT and we have it all right here without putting up with the Public.

Think about going to a Movie these days and what the real cost is.
Then while in there here are a bunch of kids raising hell.
Or the people talking around you while your trying to enjoy the Movie.

Having this in your Home removes all the outside issues completely.

Terry congrats on the badass upgrade to an already sick setup!

I've always loved home theater setups. I'm a huge movie fanatic/collector.

I will have a home theater one day, complete with snack bar and popcorn maker.

I've already got several movie posters from this guy:

http://www.justinreedart.com/

Check them out, you may find something you like.

You gotta step up your game on the furniture my man! Get some nice big oversized recliners if there are any funds left in the HT budget.

Earl's got a sweet setup as well! Very fancy! Love the seating and the art on the walls. It's really well put together.

I'd love to spend a lazy Sunday watching movies all day in either of these theaters!

I'm extremely impressed guys!

Well, actually we just spent {All} our available dollars on this up-grade.
Yes, we have looked at some Awesome seating for the HT.
This might take you by Surprise but it was way up there in the Cost, thousands.

So, since it is just Cathy and I we chose the New Equipment.

But, we would Luv to have the Very Cool seating and maybe we can one day.

S197Forum get together at either tiger or earls!!! Lol
Badass setup both of yours!

Thanks Bro ........

And Earl's is just really so Bad-Ass for sure
