Clutch line replacement retainer clip

A Volkswagen clip is apparently identical to the Ford clip.

But unlike the Ford clip which is only available if you buy the complete line, the VW clip has its own part # and is available separately.

Part # is 7M 072 1431

I bought this one on eBay for $9.99 shipped

If you're gonna order from this ^^^ place, I'd say to call them up and ask them to just tape it to a piece of paper and put it in a regular envelope, since their cheapest shipping option seems to be $12.95 otherwise

good info!!!!!!! I lost one when I installed my clutch line couple years ago, I made one but I may order one of these for peace of mind

I lost one, while installing a braided steel line, a few years ago. I made a replacement out of a piece of RC airplane control rod. It's been in there for over 2 years, with no problems!

my clips arrived today.
i have extra clutch lines and slave to test them out for proper fit.
i will update how they fit hopefully this weekend.

my cost $3 EACH.
if anybody wants them i can order more. if the chicago warehouse has them i can get them next day {WORKING DAY} if i order by 1pm cst. figure a extra $.50 to mail them and paypal fees.
so $3.50 for the first clip and $3.00 for each extra one
