PLEASE NOTE, THESE ARE MY ONLY ALTERNATIVES AS IT IS WHAT MY MERCHANT HAS IN STOCK SO RECOMMENDING SOMETHING ELSE WON'T HELP

I would love to grab some Zymol Carbon, but he is out of stock and I need to place other orders with him so I know I can get it elsewhere but am trying to keep things to one single order for the time being.

Thanks,

If you can hold out for Zymol Carbon it would be the best out of any of the others you have specified.

Next best would be Victoria or P21S 100% Carnauba.

the P21S has a really nice glow to it, the Victoria looks really wet with a nice jetting, BUT it is a PITA to buff off depending on your relative humidity.

P.S.

I actually know Chris from eShine really well. Good guy!

Been getting good results in terms of application out of the Adam's Americana lately. It's even been humid lately. I don't know what happened that one time Seer. It does look amazing. It has such great depth, gloss, wetness, etc.

Zaino. That's all I use. Love it

This thread isn't about Zaino. It's about which waxes are the best from that list.

All of which on this list have gotten better reviews than Zaino.

Expand your pallette some day, Zaino has been looked at as the "Bose" of detailing products. Decent product, gets the job done but does nothing special and is over priced. Zaino is 85% marketing, 15% product.

Do you really think when you "layer" Zaino, you actually have 10+ coats of protection?

Edited, I jacked this all up.

I've only tried Zymol Carbon on your list.

I have a can of Zymol Carbon and a can of their Ebony. Looks really nice and lasts a few months, unless your like me and wax every two weeks. But I had to stack it a few times to get it slick. I didnt like the way they felt the first few times I put it on. The Ebony seemed to go on thinner and lasted longer than the Carbon. I kinda burned through the Carbon too quickly and it went on a little different than the Ebony. If I had to choose, I would go back to Ebony over Carbon, but its a close call.

But then again, I don't have a factory clear coat and I don't know if that makes any difference, but it did to Zymol. When I called them for a custom mix for my Wanda clear coat and they recommended Titanium Glaze (and this was because I have ghosted pearl rally stripes) over the a custom mix, Carbon or Ebony.

And sorry to say, I liked they way Zaino looks and feels better than anything I have tried so far. But Zymol is a little cheaper and still looks similarly nice and is a LOT less work.

Try Zymol Concours ;)

Also try applying the zymol with your bare hands.

I have only used Pinnacle SSII from that list and I absolutely love it. The gloss is phenmenol when applied to a properly prepped paint job. The ease of use gets an A+ (wipe on/ wipe off). the scent is pleasing. The cost is reasonable at about $50/can.

What benifit does this give, and what waxes are "ok" to do this with?

Thinking about getting some carbon in the future

As far as appearance goes, there isn't really a benefit towards it. Some people like to "Massage" the wax into the paint, and feel they sometimes will get an even coat while using their bare hands.

The only thing you should worry about with that process is making sure your hands are smooth. Gearheads like some of us tend to have rough, calloused hands and you may accidentally mar your paint that way.

Zymol waxes are typically softer, and the heat from your hands allows it to spread thinner and more evenly. Makes for a more uniform coverage in your application.

Not to threadjack but how would one apply said waxes with a DA? I've been looking at similar products but haven't pulled the trigger because i like the speed of waxing with my porter cable.

Paste waxes are applied by hand and/or applicator pad.

Swissvax Concorso is very nice, BUT I found Zymol Concours to be better. For nearly the same money.

Glad it is finally working well for you.

You absolutely can. The shortcut is to turn the tub upside down, knock the wax brick out of the jar and you can spread the paste onto the pad itself. You should only need to do that two or three times per vehicle. Remember to spread it on thin!

Good to hear. I've also heard applying supernatural is better with the hands so I cant wait to give that a shot!
