Thing is, you are describing non issues. How does the car perform under wide open?

Car seems a little down on power during WOT but nothing horrible IMHO.

Thing is, im the one who drives the car every day and notice every single change or something that doesn't seem right. Its pretty frustrating explaining how something isnt right when these 5.0's have so many fucking issues that are passed off as "normal".

Every time someone posts something trying to explain the issue they are having with their car, people almost always respond with "It's just the way these 5.0's are".

Its BS.

The 5.0 community has been brainwashed in to accepting these stupid fucking issues that shouldn't happen with a brand new car. From the clunky/notchy shifting in the MT82 to the completely normal rough missing idle.

Rant complete.

Hate to sound stupid, but it could it be a change in the cam timing since the car was at one point boosted?

Not really. I just don't think you know how to cam phasing works as well as the emissions.equipment. again, your logs show nothing.

Still doesn't explain why my 3 previous 5.0 didn't idle anywhere as rough as like mine is doing right now.

Dont get me wrong here, my previous 5.0's didn't idle like butter but they sure as hell didn't shake and damn near stall out when idling.

Pretty sure they all have the same cam phasing and emission equipment.

If it feels boggy at WOT, something is wrong. If its just at idle, it might simply be your pickiness...which isn't an insult. I'm the same way with my car. Everything has to be perfect or you're not satisfied. If its still bothering you, sell it and move on to something different.

I think this thread just needs to be closed. Nothing further for usefulness will be fulfilled.

I might of missed it but do you have a video of the issue? IIRC this is how some of the #8 problems started. Hopefully that's not it and I doubt it is. A video will allow others to compare it with their 5.0 and give some informed feedback.

Heres the video. Its from a cold start and you really cant hear the studdering start until the last 10-15 seconds or so.

I really should get a new video posted of when the engine is warmed up and studdering/missing worse than what this video shows.

Sorry but could go over the following. This thread has gotten kind of long to go back and piece together.

Stock tune?

Mods?

Stock exhaust?

If there was an issue you would be getting a CEL. No CEL, no problem. /end thread.

I've spoken to three tuners that are well known on this forum and they ALL said that they have personally seen plenty of 5.0's that have ISSUES that NEVER threw a single CEL.

OK then have one of them tune your car to fix your non-existent issue. :deadhorse:

Because your logs showed nothing abnormal.

The PCM has a field called date last mod, which shows how many key cycles and the date the last time the pcm was modified.
Ahhh, I see... that's what the tuner meant. Not much info stored then, so how does Ford track what is a "legitimate tune" (FRPP S/C kit) as opposed to an aftermarket tune? Just by internal records?

What I am saying is, since the OP had a tune but reverted back to stock, his "old performance tune" should have nothing to do with why he is having issues now.
My thinking here is Ford has no way of knowing whether or not the "performance tune" was destructive to the engine. The OP did say he was supercharged, so could a bad tune have done some mechanical damage that reverting back to the stock tune won't fix? I'm thinking mild detonation damage to the pistons/rings...

To the OP: I watched the posted video several times - my exhaust sounds exactly the same as yours from the rear, but my engine does not stumble or nearly stall like what you described. I had one other thought after reading all this - have you checked system voltage @ idle?
