Also for the record I bought the beefcake special but not the Lund tune. Don't want anyone to think negatively on the kit or tune because everything is working as promised and is amazing. I'm sure this is something on my end.

Beefcake was awesome to work with, and anytime I sought info from him he is there with a quick response.

I will upload a video tonight. It's really not an issue just a nag that I can't figure out.

With that power and weight, you should be trapping what? Close to 170 and almost in the 7's Whats the best e.t. so far?

Dyno numbers can be weird man. With my old race car I made 1200rwhp (pegged the dynojet) at 18 lbs through a powerglide. A few years later went to a buddies Mustang Dyno and made 1226rwhp, but it took 26 lbs of boost to do it. With that boost and more aggressive tuneup it would have been closer to 1500rwhp on a dynojet. I went 172mph @ 3500 lbs on 18/19 lbs of boost. 1000 rwhp from a Mustang dyno( which i think is far more accurate) will go 170mph in a roughly 3500 lb car.

Moral of my ramblings, don't put a ton of faith in dyno numbers. Weight vs trap speed is where its at. Seen plenty of 1200-1400rwhp cars around the same weight only trap in the high 150's.

only been to the track once with the turbo low boost it went 156 on drag radials.

Dont worry when its not 200 degrees out we will get some numbers but High 8s is most likely where it will end up since its a sick shift. until we put an auto in it.

get back to your paxton talk dont want to mess the thread up with all my turbo talk.

Mine does it if I don't let the fuel gush through before cranking, but we have diff fuel systems. Interesting that yours does it.

Mine fires up perfectly when cold every time. I have a issue with warm starts if it's hot outside. Once it does start it also doesn't take alot of throttle right away (it's kinda boggy). Pretty sure I have a leaky injector.

Just a heads up, I'll be posting my car in the for sale section. Life has delivered me a swift kick to the nuts so it's the car or the house and I don't think my wife is ok with sleeping in the car.

Sucks man. Sorry to hear that. Just an FYI, I have mine listed for $31k and have had no interest. 6500 miles on my car.

Good luck with everything!

Thanks. That's not promising. I was looking to get more then $31k and I don't have 3900 miles on the car yet. Only time will tell.

Anybody having issues with hesitation or bucking during part throttle?

I have a very popular and reputable tuner working on my car and can't seem to get a clean maf reading. During the logs it's very choppy and "dirty" looking. It's really bugging me that I know I have a good tuner and I haven't heard of this issue coming from anyone else and there are so many paxton kits

Manual or automatic and are you running the stock inlet or do you have the JLT intake on the end?
