I didn't think much of it myself. The real killer for me is the very end scene. I won't say and spoil it for anyone that hasn't seen the movie yet.

Lol! I'm honestly surprised. Me and the wife both loved it. I woke up the next day still thinking about it. We were going to watch something else after it but couldn't come up with anything to top it so we called it a night.

Watched Interstellar over the weekend. Great movie, but the "science" had me scratching my head at times.

Saw Birdman this weekend. Very well done, unique and mind boggling all at once.

Just watched how to train your dragon 2 with the kids. Thought it was pretty good

I am probably the biggest fan of the Terminator series on this board, and I must be the only one who thinks that movie looks fucking terrible. It has some interesting ideas, but some of it just seems so out there. From what I have read, its not a sequel but rather a reboot that uses elements from the Terminator universe but then mixes it all up. I'll do my best to watch it with an open mind, but the trailer just looked awful

I wished they would of just kept going where Salvation left off. That was a different take that didn't mess with the story line much... Heck knows what this one is gonna bring... Looks like it may be full of unnecessary action though...

Salvation had so much potential and it was wasted

Yeah. I like the first ones (Terminator 1, 2, and 3), but Salvation was a big MEH. I really didn't like Bale as John Connor, I thought he was just to stoic in the movie.

Plus, this flies in the face of T3, in which the movies whole point was -- there was no avoiding the holocaust, the whole point was just to survive it.

On another note: The Hobbit. Up until about a month ago, I wasn't that excited about it. But the latest trailer that has come out has peaked my interest and I will go see it in IMAX.

Oh, and, Evangeline Lilly is HOT.

.

I liked Bale as John Connor, but the movie had way to many other problems.

Well trying to prevent Judgment Day was also a theme in T2, and T3, this movie looks like that will be the central theme. I just don't know how well it is going to work.

Yes in T2 and T3--but the whole point of them sending the Terminator was not to prevent the holocaust, it was to protect John / Sarah Conner so they survive the inevitable holocaust to come. It was only Sarah that wanted to "prevent it", but that was not the Terminators role.
