First off, I'd like to say that I'm excited to finally find a decent forum to obtain and share info on these cars as I recently purchased a 2012 base GT and want to make it quicker. It seams like other members are vey helpful about sharing information and experiences, but on nearly every post I get "nit-picked" by a moderator.
I've been an active member of probably a dozen car forums over the years, but have never experienced this weird stuff before. I'll try searching a couple of times, but if it brings me to a 20 page thread and it isn't found in the first 10 pages I'm probably going to start a thread, Who friggin cares? If someone knows what I'm looking for and shares it with me, it worked, right?
It takes more effort to read a thread and lecture upon it, than simply moving past it if it doesn't interest them like the rest of the world, unless the moderator's trying to be "important" to someone, or other members, I suppose.
Bottom line here is that I enjoy learning about cars, and will be doing a lot of mods and racing with this car of mine, and I too will have information to share as I go that could be valuable to other members, and if I found another forum for these cars with as much activity, and also didn't get hassled by every little thing as I went, I'd leave this site and never look back.
The bottom line of this thread is, if I'm making other members mad, and screwing things up for them, let me know. But if I'm being ridiculed by moderators who want to show the world how much they know about the forum rules, why don't you just spare us all the wasted posts, seriously? If I start a thread after I searched a few times but came out "dry" is someone really suffering over this? I'd simply thumb right past an overlooked "searchable" thread or post, but that's just me.
As it seams like moderators are getting tired of me starting threads that I should've searched for two days before posting a new thread, I'm getting tired of posts in my threads with links to the rules, and crap like this , and this, just sayin.
