You should have tried Legato for dyno tuning. Money back guarantee - car may be too loud, though.

Yeah but I blame myself. I never should have tried to save a buck on the nitrous setup. I should have bought a brand new kit from either NX, Nitrous Outlet or ZEX. Had I done that then I would be very confident right now that a fuel pump would fix the problem and get me spraying.

As it is now I'm seriously contemplating buying the ZEX kit without a bottle for $455 and just installing that along with the fuel pump upgrade I already bought before I go back to Brenspeed.

I just hate to do that because that means ditching the plate for a nozzle setup.

I don't understand this logic and it's relation to what you paid Brenspeed to do for you.

Also if the AFR goes down with rpm, I wonder if the fuel pump is actually the issue.
If there is a lean spike as nitrous goes in and then stabilizes through the pull, try going up a size or two on the fuel jet. Since Brenspeed already took care of the initial calibration, you may be able to do the fine tuning yourself with a wideband.

And I wouldn't blame the nitrous kit yet. The only role in the nitrous setup is for the nitrous solenoid to prevent seepage when the bottle is open, and for the fuel solenoid to spray fuel when commanded. It sounds like you got the WOT & RPM switches to work so that rules out nitrous.

I'm surprised the OP didn't leave with stickers saying his car's putting out 1,000 FLYWHEEL HORSEPOWER ... it could've been the "2016 Limited Edition 1000-HP Brenspeed Mustang GT"

Although, loud. or so I heard. somewhere.

Brenspeed is a complete joke. Its a shame how that company turned out. They are great for overpriced installs with standard tunes. Thats about it. Their "dyno tuning" is a joke. Super super overpriced. Trying to talk with them is a joke. I go there for their dyno days just to show them that their cars dont make power.

The more I have thought this through the angrier I get. I mean who says here's our dyno tune but I wouldn't use it unless you want your motor to blow up because we can't figure out why your AF is so bad. But that'll be $600 please. Oh and you can come back and pay us $200 more later but we can't guarantee your problem will be fixed even then.

I mean really?

I think I'm going to call them up tomorrow and say look guys, you need to finish what you started since I paid top dollar for a working dyno tune. I'll install the new fuel pump and bring the car back so you can finish the tune free of charge.

The worst they can say is no, right?

LOL. I believe that. I still can't believe my NA setup is only good for 323 RWHP. I bet a better tuner could get that number up a little. They blamed the Hot Rod Cams. They said if I had Detroit Rockers I would have made more HP. Yeah RIGHT! I've seen a lot of posts from people with less then stellar numbers from those cams. There is only so much you can gain from NSR cams anyway.

But they do sound DAMN good!
