Here at BamaChips we get bored in the evenings, boredom is how i broke my arm so we can only guess how this is going to turn out.
The project car is a 2001 70k mile cobra, completely stock, one day changing out brakes on the car we were jokeing around (or so i thought) about putting a three valve in it. Little did i know he was serious, so next thing I know were pulling the 4V out.
The final specs:
2008 ford 3v out of a GT
BBR Stage II Cams
Phaser lockouts
Spec Stage II clutch
C&L Intake MANIFOLD (shhh)
JLT II CAI
Assload of nitrous
This is how it started:
Pulling the engine
4v on the stand ready for a new home:
Delivery of new engine:
Exhaust with adapters:
Test fitting the 2v headers with the 4v xpipe on a 3V
Assload of N02 (this isnt available yet)
The engine should be sat in this week once we change cams and other little things, i will keep this post updated.
Dont worry Chris your throttle body adapter will make it home
