I come from a lifestyle that warrants large wheels, and tiny tires.
I totally disagree with your ratrional here, there is no such thing as "warrants" anything about anything you do to your car. That's why it's yours, not theirs. If you "Want" them that is reason enough, but you should never allow any outside forces to make you do anything to your car.
I also realize that since I am the one writing a check for $40K that I will do anything I feel necessary to my mustang.
That is the key to the entire thread, Your check, your ride, you get to "customize" it they way you want.
What I will say is this, Mustangs DO NOT make good "Big Wheel Cruisers" They are American Muscle and should be treated as such. The entire reason for large tires and rims was to fill that ugly gap between the tire and the fender wells. If your looking for a "Big Wheel" why dont you think about a BMW instead?
