There is a shifter lever that hooks up to a cable on the factory shifter.

Are you using the baumann controller? Its pretty easy to get the select shift 13/14 shifter to work with the baumann controller. Just a matter of buying a pigtail from ford and hooking up 3 wires.

Its too bad. My CF a49-3 is considerably lighter than stock. I was pleasantly surprised as most of the CF hoods are same as or heavier than stock.

Have you looked at Trufiber yet? My a43 hood has tons of clearance. Right around 4" tall at the back of the cowl.

I know Eric Brooks at HP Tuners has been doing some stuff with the nGauge.
