Wow. I took my auto 12' to the track(1/8), hot and humid Tennessee, and went a 8.51@86 all night. I would like to get solid 7.60s out of it with as little done as possible, and stock converter. I was going to start with a tune and 26" radials to give it some gear.

When I bought my 07 GT, I drove straight to the track from the lot. 5 speed, 3.31 gear, premium car. Went 8.93@81. Intake, X-pipe, 4.10, radials, went 8.0s. Heads, 127600 cams, went 7.60s. It could have ran faster with the heads/cams, but I was running borrowed 28" tires that killed my 60'...

So 8 is a go. But 7 is preferred. I'm a Mac guy, and have a super old gateway from 2007 that I'm using now. Sometimes I want to throw it out of the car haha!

I am about to pick up a new tablet/NetBook strictly to use tuning my car using SCT with. I would prefer a tablet, but very small laptop would work as well if support would be better. Any experience, recommendations? Thanks!

The crank walked and beat the back of the oil pump until it cracked. Twice.. The original shortblock I ordered was a 4.75L 11.5:1 MMR1000. It never made over 450whp, I used a Ram powergrip hd clutch and stock slave cylinder. Slave cylinder throw was checked, and dead on with Rams recommended...

Lets hope these parts are stronger than their relocation brackets... I broke a set of their old style brackets, which were still under their 2 year warranty, and kelly denied covering them under warranty even after admitting on the phone that they had issues with those brackets. I used to stand...

Well UPR went a 1.35 60' without relo brackets.. BMR is obviously going to use their relo brackets to go the same.. Good luck BMR. I broke the passenger side in half. Matt D broke a set last year at NMRA. I'm just going to weld some 1/4" steel plates to the stock brackets. Your 1/16 isn't working.

I checked on ARP's website and it said 42ft lbs, so that's what they went too. Engine is in the car a running now. Definitely having second thoughts........ Time to make some phone calls lol

I am installing a new clutch in my car. It came with a shim that goes between the trans and slave. I'm guessing this needs to be installed but have never heard of having to do it if you haven't machined the flywheel. Can anyone verify this?
