I have had this problem with my iTSX. I discovered if I tried to load a tune immediately after car was running it failed. Pretty sure it had to do with the retained power feature. If retained power goes off in middle of tune load it craps out. Park car and let sit for a while with driver...

Dealer swirled the hell out of my car too. I picked it up the day after it came off the truck they must have washed it with a brush. I totally forget to tell them not to prep it. I had them buff it out but you can still see the spiderwebs. Need to have it professionally buffed one of these days...

Stock engine is fine. Mine put down 430 RWHP. all I added to the kit was a gt500 fuel pump to be safe.

I put a CDC Shaker on my 2010 .. then replaced it with a SuperShaker ... same hole but different trim.

There have been reports of the the 2013 harness plug being different than 2010-2012 plug ... are these truly plug and play or is there wire splicing involved?

Probably be simpler to install a GT500 PCM tuned to run the GT engine. I had a GT500 cluster in both my 2006 and 2010 Mustang. The 2006 wasn't too bad .. just a non-moving needle. The 2010+ cluster consider lack of signal as an ERROR and light up the gauge RED when headlights are on ...

Just check the speed with a Garmin or TomTom if you are concerned. Or .. just check mileage between mile markers on highway.

I have all my 2010 parts left over from saleen install. Cmdp in 2010 are built into intake. I have full intake as well.

Is this update for ALL 5.0 Mustangs or just 2011's? I have a Bama tune for my JLT on my 2012 GT but if they have something new and improved I will request an update.

Mine stickered at 42k. Every option except rear sensor and auto trans.

Duh yes. I meant 12/08/11. Aren't the engines built someplace else and the shipped to the assembly line?? So my engine build date would be earlier than car build date.

My car was built on 12/8/2012. I find it hard to believe that on the assembly line at 12:01 AM they made sure all 5.0 had the new pistons. Or is it more likely they just happened to run out of 5.0's with the old pistons on 12/7 so started using new ones on 12/8.

I just did mine too. Now I know that I like the Satin Black so I can get them powder coated some day.

Lol. I did same with one of my upper strut mounts. I was able to find all the bearings ( I think) and put it back together.
