yup, I also pulled those little metal clips off the fan shroud assembly before i chucked it, those are usually outrageously priced.

stock e fan motor "high" side burned out.

yeah, I wouldn't think so either, but the fan section definitely had a burnt electronics smell to it. either way for a 100 bucks, i say meh, replace it all. the red wire from the thermistor section to the fan also looked like it got very hot as well.

stock e fan motor "high" side burned out.

Just a odd thing that happened to me, I had the high side of the fans burn out. very odd. the car overheated in traffic. I drove it home after it cooled off. I checked the fuses and relays. all good. the fan spun freely but did have the " the magic has left electronic part" smell to it. also...

Stainless Works 3" Performance Connect Dual Catback Retro Chambered

the only thing you have to worry about is the diameter of the internals of that chambered muffler set up. At higher HP levels, it will become a restriction. I think if I remember correctly the diameter goes down to 2.5" in this chambered muffler. If your anywhere above 450-500 rwhp, you are...

    9" rearends

thanks for the heads up on the UCA psfracer, I would of missed that and only found it when I went put it up. makes sense since the center diff housing is probably not the same outer dimensions as the 8.8.

    9" rearends

hey all, Just checking to see, I haven't really seen any posts on here about 9" rearend swaps. I am looking to put a decent 9" rearend in my car soon. I know about the beef ups with the 8.8, while stout, dollar for dollar and strength wise, a 9" is a better option. post up if you have any...

    PISSED! Need answer quick, please.

grabbing the return line with your fist will work. just squeeze it like you would a siphen pump bulb multiple times, you should here a change in pitch of the pump as water goes through it.

Changed brakes, now I have a TPMS code.

have you driven around with the tires back on? I drive to the track and back with my slicks all the time and get a fault eventially (usually after 15 miles). when I put the daily driver rims and tires back on the fault clears once the tires have been put back on. sometimes it takes like a mile...

    truetrac install FYI

yes, it definately is worth doing, now that I have it, I wish I would have done it sooner. It's nice not having to push the clutch in right after letting it out when I use first, heck it's nice not starting out in second gear.

    truetrac install FYI

yup, still, running the getrag. I will eventually change over to a tko600 package one day, but for now I plan on keeping it the way it is(I have upgraded everything else other than the transmission(rxt clutch, billet steel flywheel,MGW shifter, & 1 piece ds), with the 3.31's it is a really nice...

    truetrac install FYI

well learned today that if you purchase the detroit truetrac, the instructions are kinda vague for the spacer, it says to use the spacer with the grove( well they both have a grove, WTF?). I called eaton. they said you want to use the axle spacer that is 21.3x mm and has the deeper groove...
