Stumbled across this. It is rated at 12v and 50amp, so it should be more than capable of starting out cars.

Just thought I would share, I might pick one up.

Thats really cool, thanks for posting that.
One thing though, how would you wire that into the starter?

There are many instructions on push starts.

I have not done it, but from what I read, you just use the original wire that was going to the factory ignition switch and run it to the push button.

yep, the harness coming out of the push button start wire taps into two ignition wires...and you're done. I got mine a few months back.

so if you have one of these installed?, can you still use the key to start it?, do you have to tear your dash completely down to get to the wire?

key still works as well. you have to remove the housing around the steering wheel, the snap on panel that goes over your gauges, and a few other things...it is all real simple. It took me about an hour to install it...and that included shining up all panels I took off
