A friend at work has a Harbor Freight (I think) buffer that he will let me use. It is a big one and uses 10inch pads, it's not a rotary but one that turns back and forth while buffing. This will be my first time using a buffer. I'm wondering if it's a good idea to use this or if I should buy one that uses 5.5inch pads or something that isn't a rotary (I heard rotaries are riskier to use, so correct me if I should get a rotary).
I plan to compound, polish, use the drcolorchip touch up paint that just arrived to my door today, then use a sealant.
