12v ignition hot with key

Tried using google and couldn't find a straight answer, gonna be putting gauges in this weekends and wondered where everyone taped into for the 12v that comes on when you turn the key on! Or did you guys just go to the fuse box?

That's the wiring diagram. I usually will just test until I find one with the voltage I need. There is at least one under the console.

I used add-a-circuits, and powered them from slots #5 and #13 in the passenger side kick panel fuse box.

This - by far the easiest way to add switched power sources cleanly. Here's a diagram that I've used a bunch of times:
