18" Fan Blade rims + 14" brakes

I know the Brembo GT500's will not clear without modifications.

Does anyone know if the 2011 GT Brembo's will clear FanBlade rims without spacers or mods? I must keep the Fanblades.. I want to keep the car stock looking.

I was browsing 5.0 Mustang Magazine, and saw where the Miller Motorsports Park Driving School mustang GT used the FRPP FR500C M-2300-A brakes AND used Fanblades with no spacers... This made me scratch my head... how in the heck did they do this? I dont want these brakes-- they're $3000... but I just dont know how they fit and the GT500's dont.

Any suggestions for good brakes that perform and last? I need some BAD on my 06 GT

What comes to my mind is possibly running the Hub Centric 1" Front & Rear spacers.
That might be just what you need for those brake calibers to fit with those wheels.

why do you think you need bigger brakes? go with a set of braided lines, better pads/fluid and i think you will be set.
