I had Bassani's on the 11, drone was mind numbing and this was with resonators.

I disagree although for the past twenty years I'm still trying to figure out what drone actually is. I have resonators n what some consider drone I consider an exhaust system....its not supposed to sound like my wife's sonota.

Drone is a loud harmonic resonance that's kind of a humming noise that drowns everything else out. It's almost like having huge flies buzzing around your ears.

The auditory interference is highly destructive to other sounds

it only drones at a certain point for me...i have found ways to get around it...the exhaust sound makes me keep them over the gt500's or borlas...those are the only other 2 i would ever recommend

In 6th it drones a little at the 1850-2000 rpm as stated. Not terrible just enough to bother you a little.

I hate drone. I wont put flowmasters on another mustang again.

I like the Bassanis on my 12 GT though. I only have the axle back for now.

I have the Borla ATAK, no cats, no resonators and NO DRONE. I posted a vid. Just search for a Borla ATAK thread.

My GT500's do not drone. I know that a lot of people hate the GT500s, but the sound and price really cannot be beat. I wish that they were a little bit louder, but the quality of the sound that comes out of them now is well worth it.
