Sinter Forged and actually Forged into a shape are completely two different things.

Sinter Forged: Powered metal that is compacted into rough shape of a connecting rod and then hot-stuck by a forge.

Forged: Formed by heating the steel blank red hot and pounding it into shape with a powerful drop hammer.

This....which is what mod motor rods have always been. Including GT500 rods.
