If someone were to buy this kit from BBR, and later down the road want to add an intake manifold, heads, and cams, would they need to take their car to BBR for dyno tuning with the new parts, or would it be better to just buy a tuner kit and injectors, and have a shop tune the car, then alter their own tune when the other parts are added. Would a local shop be able to alter BBR's tune, or would you have an SCT with BBR's tune on it that was useless because the other shop had to make their own.

Any shop can tune it.

John@BBR, are the handheld tuners that y'all use, "locked", so that another shop couldn't alter you tunes? Thanks.

IAT's on the new stage 2 upgrade reached a whopping 77°

Prior with the H.O. kit the IAT's saw over 190°

HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!!!

Are we talking 77 degrees over ambient or 77 degrees into the engine?

What was the ambient temperature?

Thanks guys.

It would be 77 degrees measured at the IAT sensor which would be the air going into the engine if the IAT sensor is after the power adder.

have you logged on the road after the car is hot and doing a couple wot blasts?

That's why I asked. 77 degree IAT is really low in a boosted application.

With the stage 2 intercooler, does ProCharger still use the MAFtercooler?

77 isn't bad depending on the ambient temp.

And yes the Maf is still in the IC

Real world 80-85 degree day on the street logged runs is where the real info is at.

Hot car, warm to hot day, so you know what it's gonna do worst case scenario

The tune is locked. Not the tuner itself. Your buddy is free to upload another tune from anyone.

When referring to a "locked SCT handheld" that means it's locked to your PCM, and can't be used on another vehicle.
