longtubes are going on within the next week or so. As soon as we finish up some of the customer cars. Then we'll be shooting for mid 700's on the stock shortblock.

IATs

On the dyno with a single fan blowing my IATs reach a high of 100.4*. Ambient temperature was 87*. This was measured over 8 dyno runs.

On the street my car always run between +/- 5* of ambient temperature.

Are the street temps. at cruising speed, or under boost? What kit did you go with and at what boost?

inriched,, has a D1 on 9lbs with a Boss intake and long tubes, i believe he made in the 670 range with spark blow out at 6800 rpm, should have his Denso plugs in and making 700 by now

That's definitely at cruising speed. No way it's 5* under ambient under boost.

I figured as much, just wanted to double check.

On the other hand, a delta of only 23 degrees over 8 dyno runs is damn impressive.

This thread delivers, allow me to outline why.

1) huge power from a bolt on kit with the base headunit

2) the LULZ
a) because of all the back and forth banter from the fan boys.
b) people on car forums offering up unsound financial advise.

3) talk of making 700whp on the stock headers.

4) talk of making mid 700s with long tubes on the stock block.

John, those numbers are amazing. How's the motor holding up so far? No hiccups yet?

Have you guys had any experience with the helical gearset blowers from ProCharger yet? I'd love to see how those sound compared to the wicked woodchipper I had on my '05 a few years ago...

Hate to burst that little bubble but it's almost done, 705RWHP on a stock block...
