Hi Carl! Very glad to find more Chicago folks who track their Mustangs! I think Dave is right, if at all possible we should orchestrate a couple of event meetings, or at least one with NASA.
I botched my data logging at Autobahn this year and only got one clean session at Road America (at least for data collection). I had a new electronic toy that turned out to be more complicated than a microwave (damn buttons!), oh well. I did get some clean data at Blackhawk. So here's what I ran:
Road America: 2:53.??
Blackhawk Farms: 1:25.183
I honestly feel I was closer to 2:50 flat at RA, but eh...no proof. I have the gizmo sorted out now (I use a Quantum), so I'm looking forward to this coming year.
I'm pretty happy with my Blackhawk times. I was running Toyo R1R in 245/40-18 on the stock Bullitts and next year we'll be moving up to NT01s in 275/35-18 on dedicated wheels. Ah!..and I'll have some real seats in the car!! So excited!
So I'm hoping to whittle down those times even more.
