Just a thought as I am out of town on business and don't recall the install instructions completely. Wasn't there something about some cars may need voltage applied in addition to the OBD connection and, if so, is there a jumper involved (maybe they normally come without one and yours has one)? Just a thought, it has been too long since I read the instructions.
