I found it odd too that the RX-8 was in there. I know Leh Keen that drives the number 41 rx-8 he use to race for Porsche last year and won the over all points in the gt class. Ive been meaning to ask him why, out of all the cars to run in the gt class they choose a rx-8.

FWIW... the RX-8 in GT class runs a 3 rotor... not the production style 2-rotor, so it's no slouch...

I'm damn tempted to get a set..they are quite righteous!! And they're a lot less expensive than the Fiske wheels the previous cars used if these are being sold for a regular price.

Not trying to sound smart, but what does that have anything to do with what I asked? I don't think I've even seen any of those races ever aired in the states. Is the "Man racer" using a coyote? I'm thinking "no". I'm asking specifically about the use of the coyote in this series. Are the 302Rs the only one using them or is it just a team? I just find it weird that the highest place 302R was like 49th or 50th.

i asked rehagen racing and those bbs wheels weigh approx. 21LBS and require open ended lug nuts.

So tempting.....If only my tires were bald now. giving me a reason to get rims as well....

I did some digging, the cars I thought may have been eligible for GT competition are only for European GTx categories
