The BAB was replaced with this, on the passenger side:

The axle mounts....zOMG:
That axle mount is the real deal, Loads of surface area. It will not slip. That's got U bolts /saddles, solid saddles, double saddles etc, beat hands down.

Yea it looks solid. If u really wanted to, once u got it setup and cranked down, you could just put a couple tack welds on either edge to insure it doesn't shift under pressure.

My initial thoughts at seeing the Cad drawings of the axle mounts was, wow that will be heavy, but mounted up it seems to be well sized and suited to the task. Looks great

On a serious note I bet it wouldnt fit with a Saleen rear diffuser....??

The furthest it goes back is the standard panhard bar location, correct?

Does your saleen rear diffuser prevent the use of the stock sway bar? Because the sway bar is behind the watts linkage.

Some rough drafts.....I likey.

Thoughts?
I likey too. Looks hefty but not too bulky. Axle clamps look like they can get a good purchase on the axle too. And I bet the unsprung weight addition is very minimal

hmmm, any word on whether or not this would be compatible with the convertible bracing now that we're further along in development?

Definitely a different take on it. For me, I'm thinking I'd go with the diff-mounted version.

I'm trying to visualize how the sway bar would fit in there. It looks like things will be getting tight.

Once the roll center is adjusted properly, some people don't even run a rear sway.

I'm sure BMR will leave room though. I'm sure a lot of people will want to run at least the stock sway bar, including myself

BMR has sent people bare metal products before. Also, black is one of the colors they offer.

But why does the color matter?!

I think he meant black and white in print to make sure it fits.
