Tiger, why did you change out your wheels after you took all the trouble to widen your stockers?

Car sounds great with new cams. We put mine in yesterday but I am having ugly tune issues. I dont dare drive it now.

Patrick,

Simple answer as to why I went with the Race Stars.

I am Ole-School and "Prefer" The Pro-Street Mustang look. :thumb2:

Sorry, can't help on the Tune issue with your cams.

No-Tech here Pal.

Well I learned a lesson, don't drink beer while changing cams. One of my cam followers fell out of place and I didn't notice it, tried starting the car, and it didn't hurt the cam at all but it mashed the follower.

To Whom are you asking the question ???

If you are asking me I have the Saleen Supershaker and 3.2 Pulley for 11.5 Lbs. psi

Tiger, sorry I was asking you. I know the Hot Rods are not exactly a blower cam, thus the loss of boost. Have you taken the thing out, stomped on it and checked your gauge to make sure you are getting the full 11.5psi?

I am wondering how Brenspeed is able to get such a lopey sound and no loss of boost.

I have NOT yet personally ran it Wide-Open with the Blower Detroit Rocker Cams.

Keep in mind that these are for a FI Engine and there are also as you already know the N/A Detroit Rocker Cams.

I Do-Not know if I have ever had 11.5 Lbs Boost.

The 3.2 Pulley is rated for 11.5 Lbs. Boost.

That varies according to many factors ...........

If you check out the Dyno Chart you can see that I did NOT loose any H/P with these cams.

So, can't say if it goes all the way to 11.5 Boost on the Gauge or not.

Isn't that how the Hot Rods are? I know the HR's are 1mm higher lift and a longer duration (which i thought was bad for FI). So I am still wondering what Brenspeed is doing with these cams. Since there are no specs for us to look at, we can only hypothesize the specs.

Plus I know how to get the specs on these. The grind number is on the cams and just types it in on compcams.com
