My brother called me with a question and I'm not really sure how it's done. Hoping one of you guys can help me with the answer.

Here is how he worded his question...

"I was sitting here watching drag videos on YouTube and saw that some of these cars would start rolling forward as they were building boost before the green light. How do they keep from red lighting?"

That is how his question was worded. ^

We know about trans brakes & line locks...but these cars weren't locked in position. They were actually creeping forward. We also know about lining up pre-stage.

He has me curious now. What is preventing these drivers from red lighting?
