C1064 Coolant Temp Sensor Location

Please forgive my ignorance, but I am installing a couple of gauges in my '06 S197, and I am unsure where the coolant/water temperature sender unit is. Can someone point me in the right direction, please?

Did your H2O temp gauge come with it's own sending unit? If so, most people (inlcuding me) put them on the coolant crossover tube. But, I've also read where there is another location on the block somewhere.
