Cammed 3v First time out, 12.43@111

Took the GT out for the first time with the new setup tonight. Made a total of 4 passes but only 2 of them were good clean passes. My 2-step went crazy on the first pass and wouldnt even let me launch, my second pass was a clean 12.50 at 110, my third pass i missed second (stock shifter), my fourth pass was a clean 12.43 at 111 with a 1.69 60ft.

Mac Longtubes and offroad X
Steeda underdrive pulleys and cmdp
JLT Cold Air Intake
MSD 2-step
FRPP 4.10 gear
26x10.5 ET Street Bias Ply
Blankenship Tuned



I believe the car has a little more in it, need to try some different tire pressures and launch RPM. My highest launch was 5500 so I still have another 1000 I can increase, i launched at 6500 last year LOL! Ill just have to play with it and find what works. Im satisfied for its first time out. Id like to get it to the 12.20's as is, 11's by the end of the year with some changes. I have my 12.50 pass on video but not my 12.43.

well i done alot of the mods all at once. last year i had offroad xpipe, C&L street intake and magnaflow mufflers. Tuned by Shortuning and ran 12.90 @106. then i threw all this stuff on it all at once over the winter.

i know you weren't asking me, but i run my 26x11x17 et streets at 12psi. i run radial skinnies up front, and honestly, i don't notice anything out of the ordinary on the top end.

Good to hear! 12psi sounds a bit below my "oh shit" limit though.
I am sticking to 15-17psi since I am running my 235/50 street tires up front lol

what psi were you running?

I made my first pass on 14psi but the car felt like it hooked too hard, it only went like 1.76 sixty foot. I brought them up to like 17 and cut the 1.69. The sway isn't really bad at all, I just notice it mostly on the shifts.
