the switch is only part of the equation. the 10+ have a sensor on the dash that operates the auto on/off. even if your 10+ car didn't come with the switch for auto lamps, the sensor is still there and will just run the cluster.

basically this switch is plug and play for auto lights on a 10+ but if you don't have that sensor on the older cars, then just having the auto setting on the switch won't do you any good.
