There was a local story some 30 years ago, where a guy had a 930 Porsche. He went on vacation and left it park on the side of the house. Thieves in broad daylight, used a crane parked along the roadway and hoisted it over the property wall and onto a flat bed. These were the days when undefeatable (or so they say...) Ungo Box, Clifford and Chapman alarms were available. Today we have GPS, real-time tracking, etc. and cars still get stollen and disappear.

Where there is a will, there is a way...

“Where there is a will there is a way.”

No shit… We had an enclosed trailer stolen from in front of our company warehouse, they took 30 minutes cutting off the lock and hitching it up and driving off with it. Whole thing was caught on the security camera but the resolution was poor enough they couldn’t make our faces or the license plate, it seems stupid to even have cameras if they’re no use but hell, it wouldn’t have stopped them taking the damn thing!
