Friend of mine needed a new clutch ... so he pulled the tranny. Changed the clutch... the pilot bearing... so far -so good.
But now he is lost . When it came to install the Driveshaft...he got confused with the two washers that are used with the center bearing support ( 2 piece OEM ) when he pulled the tranny, he removed the two washers..and now we don´t know, what is the correct position of those aluminum washers . Do they sit between floor /underbody and center bearing support..
or lets say "on top "of the Support ? Perhaps someone can tell me /us something about this issue.

My Stang has a one piece Ford Racing DS...so we can use my car as a reference.

Thank you for helping us

Greetings from Germany Juergen

a foto might help also :)

Problem solved ! I found a foto from the central bearing carrier in the. "spydershaft " Thread.
The aluminium washer goes between the floor and the carrier /support.
