I've had them for 4 years now, they hold up fine, I've mostly run them around 28 psi for better handling, 19 psi is for traction. I don't drive them in the rain so I cannot comment on how they do.

Great numbers, and great to hear! Thanks.

I have heard a lot of good about M&H holding to the road with big numbers to the wheels. Check out the 275/45/18's they just came out with!

These look to be worth a try.

Edit: Here are pictures of the same size mounted http://s940.photobucket.com/user/BlakSnake/media/Tech Stuff/100_2673.jpg.html

I ran the M&H 275/45/18 about 3 or 4 years ago. Absolutely the stickiest tire I've ever had at the drag strip. They had a tendency to wander on the highway at highway speeds.

IIRC I was at around 505rhwp at the time and was (my drag strip skills are in the novice category) trapping 11.6x @ 122 when I did everything right. The biggest factor in not getting better times was bogging after the initial launch. The car hooked and launched fantastic but it would bog for a moment after hooking. A well respected local tuner and racer told me it was common with a pd blower and 6 rib belt due to belt slip when the car hooked.

I lost interest in drag racing sometime thereafter so I never did get back with a better belt setup.

What are you running now?

I have a set of M&H 275/50/17 mounted on a spare set of wheels but they haven't been to the track. I haven't been to the track for at least 3 years.

My current rear tires are Nitto 555 in 265/50/18. Nice and tall, rides nice and quiet, has decent traction and fits on the stock 18x8.5 wheels.
