Yeah, I know, MMR...WTF!

This issue seems to come with guys doing swaps on used kits and such. Only reason I am putting it up.

what do you gain over the 07+ crossover? By the time you buy the kit, lines, Fittings, etc no cheaper than an 07+ OEM parts. The OEM parts are not problematic so not sure I agree with MMR "blow proof" comment either.

I would be concerned with the big restriction that creates, as well as the ridiculous cost. -12 AN is only 3/4" ID. OEM lines are much bigger. I'd rather have more volume. Not knocking the OP, knocking the fuck out of MMR.

My thoughts exactly. -12 is probably OK for a drag car but I wouldn't want to run that on a street car.

Two -12 lines have a cross section of 570 sq mm

One 1.5" hose (stock) has a cross section of 1104 sq mm

GT500's run two 1.25" hoses for a total of 1584 sq mm

I would be more inclined to go in the direction of a GT500 than smaller.

I ran into this issue with my 07 supercharger install last week. Bought the crossover kit but didn't need it because my sc kit has a later Saleen crossover that doesn't require using the octopus. Now I'm stuck with the parts due to the vendor's return policy.

How about this for data:

With a 55gpm Meziere engine water pump (I don't have stock water pump numbers) the lines will flow the following:

2x -12 lines flow 15gpm

A single 1.5" hose flows 25gpm

I don't have data for dual 1.25" hoses like the GT500 has
