dishing a stock rim

does anyone know if it is possible to add a deep dish to a stock aluminum wheel. i like my wheels but i would like 18x10.5s in the rear. is it possible to weld a dish onto the lip? has anyone heard anything like this done before?

not possible Steve. Weldcrafters in MI can widen them to the inside only up to 11 IIRC on our rims b4 you have issues with the shocks

Where I believe it is possible if you find the right place and have alot of money to invest, it would look terrible with a weld showing on the outside, just buy new wheels.
