I believe for did the evap system this way from 2008 on up. correct me if I'm wrong. I have a kenne bell so the engine section is a little different. the EVAP solenoid would just get capped off on the intake manifold vice on my KB intake manifold. there is no performance benefit other that the couple pounds it removes. and it cleans up the rear end of the car and in the engine bay.

I posted this because no one else has posted one:

STEP 1.
Disconnect connectors A,B,C, & D, A & B are under the rear of the car by the canister, C & D are in the engine bay, C is below the brake booster and D is on the intake throttle body (the line for a stock car will be longer just follow the line up from C and remove all of it). be sure to cap D off on the intake side.

STEP 2.
unbolt bolts 1-4, and the canister just pops out.

STEP 3.
I left the connector by the motor taped up and out of the way

STEP 4.
CUT metal line up by over the axle point ( this is optional, I did it to get it out of the way) and remove plastic line to the Y (also optional, but I also did it to get it out of the way)

Step 5.
Have the computer retuned to turn off the codes, or live with a check engine light.

over the axle metal line cut. this runs up to the engine bay as it follows the fuel line routing:

nope, working great! no issues getting a gas refill either, did have the tuner kill the codes in my tune before I did it though.

not much, maybe 10-12 pounds. I did it mainly to clean up the rear end and remove the emmissions stuff. I don't have cats, why have the evap system? and if I decide to put a return style fuel system in I can use the area where the vent tube runs from the back to the front for the return line.

and for those who are wondering. I have had no smell of fuel in the garage since I have done this.
